Basic Policies and Procedures
Rose Sachs Gardens neither hosts simultaneous events nor conducts tours during a function. Your party will be private for you and your guests. Keep in mind that during periods of heavy bookings, it may be difficult to tour the location.

- Rose Sachs Gardens requires a non-refundable deposit with a signed contract to hold your date.
- Changing the date of a scheduled event will incur an additional charge.
- Booking parties are required to purchase a one day event liability insurance (listing Rose Sachs Gardens as an additional insured).
- To protect and preserve Rose Sachs Gardens beautiful natural surroundings, guests are required to remain on the clearly marked trails.

- The use of candles is strictly prohibited in the glen. However, glass enclosed candles are allowed on the main party terrace both inside and in the area outside the enclosed pavilion. Tiki torches are strictly prohibited on the premises.
- Neither rice nor confetti may be thrown anywhere at Rose Sachs Gardens. Please consider natural alternatives.
- The bride’s changing room is available 1 hour prior to the official start time for ceremonies and receptions.

- Rose Sachs Gardens will provide a list of 12 licensed and bonded caterers approved to work at Rose Sachs Gardens. Outside caterers are not acceptable at our venue.
- For client’s providing a bar, there is a 3 ½ hour time period for alcohol serving through the authorized bar. “Outside alcohol” will result in a fine and perhaps terminate an event if not immediately remedied. You may purchase and bring in the alcohol to give directly to the caterer or bartending service. Another option is to purchase the alcohol and take it to the caterer or bartender in the days prior, and they bring it on the day of the event. All wine, liquor and beer that exceeds 3.2% alcohol content must have the UDABC code. Items without the required code must be removed from the grounds immediately.
- 110 volt electricity is provided inside the enclosed pavilion.
